Whistleblower Protection

The Complaint Report system is run in a way that enables whistleblowers to file complaints without fear of reprisal. At LOTTE HOTEL BUSAN Co., Ltd., we will always strive to manage our business in compliance with the law.
Protected persons
  • Regarding whistleblowers, we will not disclose their identity or any information that may make their identity as a whistleblower known without their consent. In addition, we will hold any information related to the evidence submitted by the whistleblower, information collected regarding the complaint, details that may point to the subject of the complaint, and follow-up outcomes after the complaint is filed, in strict confidence.
  • We will also extend an equal degree of protection as given to whistleblowers to any persons who, in the course of fact-checking regarding the complaint, agree to cooperate with the investigation by giving statements and providing supplementary material.
Protection policy
  • The whistleblower and the details of the complaint are kept strictly confidential. In addition, the Complaint Report system is protected by a safe security system.
  • The complaint is handled by a limited number of people who keep the details strictly confidential.
  • We will take necessary measures such as disciplinary action regarding anyone who divulges personal information relating to the whistleblower, or information that can be used to determine the identity of the whistleblower, to others.
  • If it is recognized that the whistleblower has been subjected to unfair treatment because of the complaint, we will take measures to restore matters to their original state or offer commensurate compensation.
  • Should a person who is himself/herself involved in any unethical or corrupt acts report such matters, we will handle the issue reasonably, allowing for any extenuating circumstances.
