Description of the work

  • Media Charcoal, Pearl, Gofun on Canvas
  • Location SIGNIEL BUSAN Lobby
Black lines drawn across a white background or multiple lines are bunched together, making up a side. Whether it's a line or a side, most of them take on the form of a circle. The artist draws lines using raw materials such as charcoal and shell powder, among others. He carefully works with dots and lines in an artistic process of great depth. This restrained yet balanced process gradually comes together into the ultimate completion of repetitive movements. The large canvas reveals lines that were drawn with great effort, and which could have involved the whole body.
The still frame neatly captures the coarse texture of the materials, along with the movements made to draw the lines
