The Recurrence series focuses on ‘text’, which ultimately form the great vein of human civilization along with water droplets, the source of life. The use of Chinese characters goes beyond simple formative elements. It is a symbol that abstractly establishes Chinese characters as the origin of Hangul and the serene beauty that embodies the ‘emptiness and nothingness’ of Eastern philosophy.
