Museum Program Guide

1. History Zone
· Archival photos of Korea’s first modern hotels (Daebul, Sontag Hotel).
· Original artifacts such as forks and knives from Sontag Hotel, a liquid coffee container from the 1900s, and a travel camera and suitcase from the 1910s.
· Brochures, ashtrays, matchboxes, and postcards from the opening of the Bando Hotel in 1938.
· Historical menus from the Chosun Hotel (1945) and exhibits tracing the development of Korea’s hotel industry from the 1950s to today.

2. Lotte Zone
· Literary roots of “Lotte” from Goethe’s The Sorrows of Young Werther (in Korean, English, Japanese, and French).
· Archival materials from the “Bi-won Project,” Korea’s first five-star hotel development plan, including blueprints and permits.
· Opening party invitations, promotional brochures, and the original hotel scale model.
· Memorabilia from “Bobby London,” the English-style pub once located at LOTTE HOTEL SEOUL, along with uniforms, vintage restaurant matchboxes, and the evolution of hotel door locks.
· VIP-only tableware sets, trophies, and celebrity marketing memorabilia, as well as photos and guest books signed by distinguished visitors.
