Crafting kits descriptions
Regarding the Crafting Classes
- Please make a reservation of the item and time of your crafts, via the QR code on the Information sheet handed during check-in
- Reservations are also available at the information center inside the Village Station.
- The crafts takes place inside the crafting area inside the Village station, please make your way there 5-10 minutes before the starting time.
- Make you way to the information center for any questions or guidance.
- Some items may not be available depending on stock.
Bamboo Lamps
Place one of the provided candles inside when you are finished for comfy lighting.
Approximately takes 20 - 50 minutes
Hagoita
(*) Hago-itas are the rackets used in a traditional badminton-like traditional Japanese sport called Hane-tsuki.
Approximately takes 20 - 40 minutes
Kumiko
*Kumiko is a Japanese traditional woodcraft in which you assemble carefully crafted wooden pieces together without glue or nails.
Approximately takes 15 - 20 minutes

Please be advised that prior reservations are required for some venues,
and reservations are still highly recommended for those without.

※Only open for Hotel guests in the morning
・Guests staying in the Lodge Building should use the indoor parking lot next to the Lodge Building Rotary.
・Guests staying in the Arai Building should use the Arai Building Parking Lot P2.
[Shuttle Bus]
Shuttle bus service is by reservation only.
Please check the shuttle bus schedule on the shuttle bus page below.
Please make reservations by 07:00 on the day of your visit.
※If you are staying in a Superior Type and Character Room, please make a reservation from/to Arai Building.
※If you are staying in a deluxe Type and suite, please make your reservation at the lodge building.
- Check-in starts from 15:00 and check-out is 11:00.
- Reservation changes will be accepted based on room availability and rates at the time the change is requested.
- The free shuttle bus from Joetsu-Myoko Station is available but seat reservations are necessary. Reservations can be made until 07:00 on the day of use.
- Baby beds are available up to 12 months old. The quantity is limited, so please contact us in advance.
- A hot spring tax of 150 yen per night will be charged to guests 12 years of age and older. This is included in the room rate, so there is no need to pay it separately.
- The hotel can also call you to confirm your reservation.
- Please contact the hotel if you happen to be arriving late, as reservations may be canceled by the system once past the check-in time.
